What Is Home Watch?

Home Watch is a scheduled (or on-request) visual inspection of your property—inside and out—to catch problems early, keep you informed, and coordinate solutions as needed.

We check:

• Security of doors, windows, and entry points
• Signs of water intrusion, odor & leaks
• Pest or insect activity.
• A/C, plumbing, and electrical status checks
• Flush toilets, run sinks, showers and tubs to cycle plumbing
• Replace smoke detector batteries as needed ($10 each detector that includes premium batteries, under13 ft ceilings)
• Overall roof visual check (Ground-level or high ladder view)
• Pool, lawn/lot and landscaping condition review
• Any other visible damage or maintenance concerns

Each visit includes photos, detailed notes, and a checklist-style report.

What Does It Cost?

Our rates start at $40 per visit, with pricing based on:

• Size and location of your home (Location is considered by the distance from us, gate security or other access constraints)
• Visit frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, on-request). If we don’t regularly do Home Watch service for your property, systems and existing issues take longer to perform the inspection. “Less is more” when it comes to pricing…
• Specific needs or add-ons. When we meet with you, we can discuss your requirements and requests.

We keep things fair and flexible—and many extras are included at no extra charge depending on your needs. If it’s not time consuming, it usually isn’t a problem.

What We Can Help With — Before & After a Major Hurricane

These services are variable, such as weather related conditions, and charged by the hour at $40+ an hour, depending on the conditions and job requirements. For larger jobs, we are able to have a crew of 3 on site. For all jobs, we will provide before and after pictures and a pricelist or job bid that you can either accept or deny.

Pre-Storm Prep:

• Install your existing hurricane panels or shutters
• Bring in or secure outdoor furniture and loose items
• Identify potential risks around the exterior
• Recommend shutting off power and water
• Create a customized storm plan with you in advance

Post-Storm Response:

• Photo condition report within 48 hours (when possible)
• Check for roof damage, flooding, broken windows, and more
• Coordinate with your insurance adjuster or repair team
• Handyman help available, based on urgency and schedule
• If flooded, we can cleanup, remove water, sanitize, remove contaminated drywall, and run or even provide fans depending on the generator / electric availability. We have hands-on experience in dealing with steps to prevent mold growth.

• Vehicle checks and battery level monitoring
• Pool water condition checks (chlorine, alkalinity, color) + filter rinse
